# Download and Install

nOversight for Mac can be downloaded from the Numerous Networks website.&#x20;

It is currently only available for MacOS. The current major release is version 5.x.x

As you will be power users during this course, download the beta to access all the newest features

## Get licensed

Out of the Box, nOversight starts out in a 7 day free trial (if this is the first time you have installed it)

You can continue to use this trial during the class or use the license code provided by the instructor.

1. Install the pkg file which you download (admin rights needed)
2. Run nOversight from the Applications folder
3. Optional Licensing (Do not do this on the emulators)
   1. Select the <mark style="color:blue;">Help</mark> menu
   2. Choose <mark style="color:blue;">Manage License</mark>
   3. Choose the option to <mark style="color:blue;">Manage Pro License</mark>
   4. Enter your email address and the License code give to you by the instructor

Check your license status shows that you have a Pro license valid for a year from the activation date.
